About Me
Hello! I’m Connor and I am an advertising student specializing in strategy at the University of Oregon.
My passion for strategy comes from my fascination with human interaction. I love talking to new people and learning about what excites them.
From honors research to journalism, my work is grounded in curiosity and human connection.
In my opinion, advertising strategy is a mix of not only theoretical understanding, but just as importantly, the ability to analyze and make inferences from human nature.
If my picture doesn’t give it away, I am also a huge animal lover. I could talk about cats and dogs forever.
Here are some things I could talk about forever…
Horror movies!
Mindfulness
Soccer and Golf
Mac Miller
Sunset Walks

Why Strategy?
Strategy is where my curiosity for human behavior meets my passion for creative thinking. I’m drawn to the challenge of uncovering what excites people — and using that insight to inform effective messaging. My background in journalism has shaped how I approach strategy: when I develop stories about individuals, I’m reflecting on what makes them unique and considering how different narratives might resonate with different audiences.
Research has always been at the core of my work. I enjoy diving deep into information, identifying patterns and drawing connections that lead to actionable insights. What excites me about advertising strategy is the opportunity to take those insights and turn them into something tangible — working with a creative team to bring purposeful ideas to life. I’ve always been a strategic thinker and a persistent problem-solver, and those instincts naturally led me to strategy as the place where I do my best work.
